The best way to grab your piece of virtual pie without going through a couple of years of actual work, though, is also going to net you considerably less. I'm talking, of course, about Get-Paid-To sites, or GPT sites. You're probably more aware of them as "paid survey" sites. These are sites where you get paid to complete advertiser offers and surveys. All legitimate ones are free to sign up with, and most offer mainly free offers with a few out of pocket cost offers. In addition to their standard offers, these sites give you the opportunity to complete surveys- usually daily- for a certain amount.

Most surveys are $0.75-$1.00, and offer range from $0.25 to several tens of dollars (if you go with a paid offer). This doesn't sound like a lot, and it isn't individually, but if you do a slew of offers, or even just all of the daily surveys (most free survey sites offer 2 or 3 daily) you can get $20-50 per month. Enough for a fancy dinner, at least. Most survey sites let you cash out at $20 as well, so you can get paid monthly if you stick with it.

Earning money online with free survey sites is very easy to do if you know how, but at the same time, it's difficult to make a lot of capital with just free survey sites. But there are ways that you can increase your profits that are very simple. Here are 5 ways to do just that:-

1. Referrals- Most free survey sites, if not all, have a referral program. Usually they pay you a certain amount of the money the people you refer into the site make. So if I signed up from your referral link (provided by the GPT site) and made the minimum payout of $20, then you'd get 20% of the money I would be able to cash out added to your balance- if you made the minimum $20, you'd get to cash out $24. The great thing about referrals is that there's usually no limit, or at least a very high one. If you can find a hundred people willing to sign up under you and get to the minimum payout threshold, then you earn $400 without doing anything!

2. Doing All Daily Surveys- As I mentioned earlier, daily surveys are usually offered at free survey sites, and doing them can net you more money. There are several that are offered at most sites- I've seen up to 3. This means you can do all of them and get $0.75-$1.00 for each. Over 30 days that adds up to at least $60.

3. Paid Offers- This may seem counter intuitive- paying on free survey sites to get money- but it's actually a good way to make more money. You'll understand a lot better if you sign up to a survey site and look at some of the paid offers, but most are offers like getting a credit card or buying a book. These are things you'd likely do anyway, so do them through the site and get paid some real cash!

4. Cash back Offers- Free survey sites frequently allow you to get sort of cash back for shopping at certain locations. Sometimes its obscure places- like a flower shop you'll have never heard of- but more often you're given the opportunity to get 5% of what you spend at a place like Wal-Mart back into your account. If you're going to shop for something, do it online instead and enjoy getting part of the money back from your purchase.

5. Email Swapping- Sometimes you won't be given credit with your offers, even if you do everything right. This is usually because your email has been used with that advertising company already, and you aren't allowed to reuse the same email address. However, if you have multiple email addresses, you can avoid this problem by swapping them out.

Free survey sites are definitely a good way to make money online. Maybe not huge amounts of money, but you can certainly make a lot if you work hard and smart.
